The Department of Employment Services (DOES) develops and administers employment related services to all segments of the Washington, DC Metropolitan population. DOES offers comprehensive training programs and services to ensure a competitive workforce.
DOES offers an advanced web-based workforce development system designed to meet the needs of job seekers, employers, training providers, benefit applicants, students and youth via the Internet. Capabilities of using the Virtual One-Stop include, preparing and posting resumes, reviewing resumes of potential employees, exploring regional labor market, and researching the status of unemployment benefits.
