reSTORE DC: A Commercial Revitalization Center
On behalf of Mayor Anthony A. Williams, the conceived, designed, and launched the reSTORE DC Initiative in January 2002. reSTORE DC helps revitalize neighborhood business districts and small businesses through organization, design, promotion, and economic restructuring of commercial areas.

List of Top 200 Employers
The Department of Employment Services (DOES) first published the Directory of the 200 Major Employers of the District of Columbia in 1984. The directory ranks the top 200 firms in the District of Columbia by the size of their workforce; it also displays employers in alphabetical order. The employment levels used for selecting and ranking employers were those reported to the District's Unemployment Compensation Program as of October 2002. |
