Description:  
Originally called Jefferson at Penn Quarter and designed for apartments this 850,000 sq. ft. project converted to condos in 2004 and contains two residences. The Clara Barton (616 E Street), contains 255 condos and delivered in May 2004 while The Lafayette (631 D Street), offers 173 condos and will deliver at the end of 2004. Overall, there will be about 35,000 sq. ft. of retail (including a grocery store), 540,000 sq. ft. of residential and a 265-seat Woolly Mammoth theater (delivered in 4/2005). Prices started in the $200's for a studio to the $800's for a three bedroom condo.
