Description:  
Anacostia Gateway, located at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Good Hope Road, SE is a 63,000 sq. ft. office building with 4,000 sq. ft. of retail and a 115-space underground parking garage. The exterior of the building is a composite of masonry, cast stone accents, and pre-cast concrete, interspersed with large aluminum framed windows. The masonry features decorative panels in a distinctive herringbone pattern below the third floor windows, utilizing beige and red bricks. The building includes an environmentally engineered green roof as well as a pedestrian terrace on the roof of the building. DHCD moved into the building in February 2009.
