| The 41,888-seat stadium (one million gross sq. ft.) contains 79 luxury suites, 3,000 club seats and 1,225 parking spaces. Other components include 30,000 sq. ft. of office space, a 6,000 sq. ft. conference center, 28,000 sq. ft. of concession stands, a 10,000 sq. ft. circle-shaped center field restaurant, a 200’ x 250’ plaza and 10,000 sq. ft. family picnic area, a 12,000 sq. ft. glass-enclosed press box and a 19,000 sq. ft. home clubhouse. The stadium features a façade of metal, glass, concrete and light-colored stone, with large glass panels lining the exterior. The main entrance to the park is from Half Street to the North Plaza located on N Street and adjacent to two above grade parking structures. The 20-acre stadium site is bounded by South Capitol Street, N Street, First Street and Potomac Avenue, SE. A joint venture between Clark/Hunt/Smoot was the general contractor for the project.
