 | Lauren Gertzman Director, Graphic Design - Washington, DC Economic Partnership
Lauren Gertzman is the Graphic Designer for the Washington, DC Economic Partnership. She brings her love of typography, | composition, and color to her work. She is responsible for the layout and design of all of the Economic Partnership's multimedia presentations, marketing materials, and publications. These include The DC Development Report, an annual reference guide to real estate development activity in the District of Columbia; Neighborhood Retail Opportunities, an annual catalog of available and forthcoming retail space in the District of Columbia; Neighborhood Profiles, an annual series offering demographic and other information about 29 neighborhoods across the District of Columbia. Additionally, her creative expertise is often called upon for overall assessment of the graphic look and feel of presentations and materials published by the Economic Partnership.
Prior to her employment with the Economic Partnership, Ms. Gertzman was a graphic designer at American University creating and designing advertising campaigns for the Office of Judiciary Affairs and Mediation Services.
Before committing to a career in graphic design, Ms. Gertzman worked as a fine artist, writer and video editor. She is a member of AIGA and the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Lauren Gertzman graduated cum laude from The American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Media Communications. She received a certificate in Advanced Graphic Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Washington, DC.
