 | Chad Shuskey Senior Director, Research & Visual Communications – Washington, DC Economic Partnership
Chad Shuskey serves as the Director of Research & Information Technology for the Washington, DC Economic Partnership. He has been instrumental in positioning the organization as an information clearinghouse and a leader in | research on real estate development and construction activity in Washington, DC. His primary responsibilities include implementation and strategy for information technology; management of the Economic Partnership’s Geographical Information System; collection of development information and economic indicators for the District of Columbia; and creation of maps and demographic analyses for retail attraction efforts.
Additionally, Mr. Shuskey oversees production of all Economic Partnership publications. Chief among these are The DC Development Report, an annual reference guide to real estate development activity in the District of Columbia; Neighborhood Retail Opportunities, an annual catalog of available and forthcoming retail space in the District of Columbia; and Neighborhood Profiles, an annual series offering demographic and other information about 29 neighborhoods across the District of Columbia.
Mr. Shuskey has worked for the Washington, DC Economic Partnership since 2001. He previously held the titles of Research Analyst and then Manager of Research & Information. His responsibilities have grown from assisting in research, GIS and publication projects to overseeing those initiatives.
Prior to his employment with the Washington, DC Economic Partnership, Mr. Shuskey was with the DC Chamber of Commerce, where he assisted the Director of Tourism & Visitor Services.
Mr. Shuskey is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, AIGA, Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors and DC Building Industry Association.
Chad Shuskey is a native of Euclid, Ohio and graduated from Hiram College (Hiram, Ohio) with a history major and mathematics minor.
